Dear teenage me,
You’ll get hurt countless times by both people you love and people who don’t know the first thing about you, but you’ll get through it. Don’t let things or people get to you. Forgiving and forgetting is the best thing you can do for yourself.
Appreciate the people who love you. If there’s anyone who would never do anything to harm you, it’s your family. They won’t always go about things the most reasonable way, but know that they just want the best for you.
You will date many different people before you find the right person and you won’t always get treated the way you deserve to be treated. Remember that every wrong guy brings you one step closer to the right one.
Hurting yourself is the worst way to get revenge on other people – it’s the worst thing you can do to yourself. Your suffering is not worth other people’s satisfaction.
Many amazing opportunities will come your way and great things will happen to you, but you must remember to stay humble, grounded, and true to yourself.
Things will get better if you allow them to.
