So many amazing things have been happening over the last few months. I’ve gotten opportunities I never thought I would ever experience, and it’s such an amazing feeling. This month, I’ve been trying to consistently post at least five times a week on Instagram. It’s been tough coming up with and finding time to shoot content, but I think I’ve been doing a pretty good job at it so far.
It’s been a wild month full of both good and bad things, but I want to celebrate all the good things as much as possible. I’m trying to do this thing where I don’t dwell in situations or complain, and I work on myself instead of worrying about what other people are doing. I’ll probably let you guys know how that’s going in a few months. In the meantime, here are just a few exciting things that I did this month.
I took grad photos back in October, but I didn’t post this until November, so let’s just pretend it was in November. Let me just start by saying that life moves so crazily fast. I can’t believe I’m graduating in half a year! Next semester is just practicum and internship, so I basically finish all my classes at the end of this semester. I secured an internship at an amazing media company in Toronto, and I’m so excited to start working there!
Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to work with NEON Clothing, a Montreal-based clothing store that just opened a location in Toronto. It was the first fashion-related opportunity I’d ever gotten, and I was so excited! It’s inspired me to do more fashion-related posts, which I’ve always been nervous to do. Here’s the blog post in case you missed it.
I had the opportunity to work with North York Ink, an awesome new tattoo shop in Toronto. It was a different kind of opportunity I’d never received before, and I was so excited to work with them! Check out my post here.
I was invited by Istiana from Blog Istiana to join 6Kindness, a group of Canadian online influencers aiming to make a difference through social media and online platforms. We shot some fun content a few weeks ago, which you’ll be able to see on their Instagram in the coming weeks!
I'm so excited to be part of 6Kindness this year! We're a group of Canadian online influencers aiming to give back, make change, and put a little more kindness back into the world. This year we'll be supporting Emma's Toy Drive, a charity that donates to children who don't get gifts for Christmas. Follow @6ixkindness to find out more and see exclusive content! Don't hashtag, donate 🙏🎁 #6Kindness
The practicum thesis project I’ve been working on is called Sondre House Productions, and we’re creating a visual album for Toronto indie band, Aniqa Dear. We launched an exciting social media campaign this month, which we’d love for you to participate in! All you have to do is post something on social media talking about what the word “home” means to you, and use the hashtag #SHPHome. See more details in the video below:
November has been such a busy month, and I’m so excited to see what December has in store. Thanks for reading, and until next time!
