I cannot believe we are already at the end of December – it doesn’t even feel like Christmas just passed! I can’t get over how quickly the year has gone by. I ordered a few makeup and beauty products way back on Cyber Monday (I can’t believe that was a month ago) and I thought I’d do a little haul. Everything did take 1-3 weeks to arrive so I wouldn’t say I’m too late! I’m pretty proud of myself for managing to buy only things I really needed or had to have.

I got the Blushed Neutrals Palette from BH Cosmetics, and it features 26 eyeshadows and blushes. I currently only own two blushes, and I thought I might as well add five more to the collection. I only paid about $10 for this palette (everything on the site is in U.S. pricing), which is such an insane deal! I’ve tried out the blush second to the left, and it was so pigmented and such a beautiful colour. I can’t wait to try out the rest of the blushes and eyeshadows!
I also got the Urban Luxe 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette from BH Cosmetics. I’m a lover of neutral eye makeup looks, and most of this palette is neutral so I’m pretty stoked to create different looks with it. This palette was only about $13, and for 99 eyeshadows, it’s such an unbelievable deal. I tried out a few shades and the pigmentation is actually pretty good! I’m super happy with this purchase.
I forgot whose makeup tutorial I was watching, but they applied their concealer so flawlessly with the Beauty Blender that I had to finally pick one up for myself. I’ve used it a few times so far and I’ve really been liking it! It blends my NARS Creamy Concealer really smoothly and I don’t know how I used to go without it.
Sephora had a $25 off $50 deal going on and I had no idea what to get, and I decided to pick up the Too Faced Melted Matte lipstick in Candy Cane. I was sold by the number of people saying how much they loved the peppermint smell and how the colour looked good on everyone.
While the colour is really nice, it makes my teeth look a little less white. The shape of the wand makes it a little difficult to apply, but the product itself feels great on my lips. It’s so silky! It has a pretty long lasting power, but it tends to start leaving marks on other things after a few hours (like napkins or my boyfriend’s face).
I couldn’t believe it when I found out that MAC had a 25% off everything sale going on. I’d never seen MAC products on sale before (besides at a MAC warehouse sale I went to back in 2010) and I wanted to get everything! After emptying out hundreds of dollars worth of makeup from my cart, I settled with the products I knew I really needed.
I’ve been using MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and Studio Fix Powder Plus together for five years, and I don’t think I’ll ever switch to any other foundations. I’m starting to run low on both of these so I picked new ones up. I also picked up a 129 powder brush, and I’ve been loving it for blush application. I’ve been through a few MAC Red lipsticks already and I wanted to try a new red shade, so I went with the classy Ruby Woo. While it’s a beautiful shade, I definitely think Red looks much better on me.
I hope you enjoyed this little Cyber Monday makeup haul even though it was a bit late! Did you pick up any makeup or beauty products during Cyber Monday (and did they take forever to arrive ha)? I’d love to know in the comments! For more posts like this, follow me on Bloglovin or like my page on Facebook.
