Happy Monday, friends! I can’t believe we’re already on the last few days of January. As much as I want the warmer months to come, it definitely makes me really sad that this month has gone by so quickly. WHY DOES TIME SEEM TO GO BY SO FAST WHEN YOU’RE AN ADULT?!

I thought I’d do a little January beauty favourites post, since the last time I did a post like this was back in June. You might have seen a few of these things in my beauty haul last month, but I also picked up a few products since then.

1. Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Lolita II

I’ve been wearing this liquid lipstick almost everyday this month, and it’s become my number one favourite liquid lipstick. The formula is wonderful and the colour is perfect for everyday, especially for more professional settings like my internship.

2. Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick in Driver’s Seat

This has been one of my favourite liquid lipsticks since last year, but I spent most of fall and winter wearing darker lipsticks, so I only recently discovered my love for it again.

3. MAC Lipstick in Velvet Teddy

MAC Lipstick Velvet Teddy
I used to love nude lipsticks back in high school, but over the last few years, I’ve been more of a bright or dark lipstick kind of girl. I decided to pick up Velvet Teddy last month, and it’s been one of my go-to lipsticks. I wear it with MAC’s Cranberry lipliner underneath, so it’s a little more of a pinky-nude.

4. BH Cosmetics Urban Luxe 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette

BH Cosmetics Urban Luxe 99 Color Eyeshadow Palette
I’ve been using this palette for all of my eye makeup looks this month, and I also started using it to fill in my brows since I ran out of my brow pencil. Since there are so many shades, I try to create different looks everyday.

5. MAC 208 Angled Brow Brush

I used to be really terrible at drawing my brows, so I stuck to using only a brow gel. I decided to try out the Benefit Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil a few months ago and I fell in love, but since I ran out of it, the MAC 208 brush has been a lifesaver.

6. Beauty Blender

I mentioned how much I liked the Beauty Blender in my most recent beauty haul, but I still can’t get over how amazing it is! I didn’t realize before that you had to use it damp, but it’s been giving me better results since I found out.

7. Aveeno Ultra-Calming Makeup Wipes

I try different makeup wipes all the time just for the heck of it, and so far this Aveeno one has been the best one. All the other wipes I’ve tried have dried out my face or made my eyes sore, but this one feels super gentle on my skin and eyes.

8. Irresistible Me Moonstone Automatic Steam Curler

Moonstone Automatic Hair Curler
I’ve always been really bad at curling my hair with regular curlers, but this automatic curler has been so useful. It makes things so much easier because you don’t even have to do any of the work. I did a post reviewing it here.
