You may or may not have heard of TOSTO Quickfire, a relatively new pizza chain in Toronto. They recently opened their fourth location at Richmond & Spadina, and they’ll be opening a new spot in Oakville soon, making that five locations in two years. You could say they’re… Spreading like quick-fire.
The Richmond & Spadina location is their official flagship restaurant, and the big red doors that greet you make their mark on Richmond Street. TOSTO Quickfire gives you fine dining at fast food prices, with its gorgeous rustic interior and abundance of Instagrammable spots.
Adam and I arrived a bit late because I was coming from my internship in North York. We missed a lot of the appetizers, but we were still able to try some of the salads and the calamari. What I would’ve done to try the delicious-looking hams and cheeses on this charcuterie board…
The pizzas were by far some of the best I’ve ever had. The Fungi Misti pizza was my absolute favourite – I think I ate three slices. I’m usually not a mushroom gal, but I really liked it on this. Adam really enjoyed the Affumicata pizza with bacon on it.
I’m still trying to figure out this whole manual thing (can someone please tell me why all these photos are so darn shaky?!) Adam and I competed to see who could take the best photos on my camera, so I honestly don’t know which ones who took.
If you’re looking for a new restaurant to hit up in Toronto, I definitely recommend TOSTO Quickfire. They’ve got locations at Bay & College, Bayview & Eglinton, Keele & Rutherford (Vaughan), and Richmond & Spadina, with one coming soon to Oakville. For more information, visit TOSTO’s website.
