Happy Thursday, friends! I hope you’ve all been having an amazing week so far. Lately I haven’t been blogging as much as I’ve been wanting to, and it’s been stressing me out. I seriously do not understand how people with full-time jobs find the time to blog! Even with my internship being only three days a week, it’s difficult to find time to shoot photos, edit them, write posts, and schedule them on social media amidst all the other things I have to do.
I’d heard of Arbonne before but I never tried any of their products, so I was super excited when they sent me a bunch of goodies to try! I shared some sneak peeks on Instagram Stories so you might recognize the purple bottles from there (PS if you’re not following me on Instagram you totally should). I thought I’d do a little haul and review since I got so much stuff.

To start things off: this Makeup Primer pictured on the left is actually amazing. According to the Arbonne site, it smooths out fine lines and pores, and I find that it also makes your skin completely matte. I’ve been using Smashbox’s Photo Finish Primer for years now, and I definitely have to say that Arbonne’s primer is my new favourite. I tried them both out on back-to-back days to compare, and the Arbonne one mattes out my face way more than the Smashbox one does.
The It’s A Long Story Mascara is great for people who like the natural look (or as everyone’s been calling it, the “no makeup-makeup look”), as it does a great job of catching every single lash and not leaving any little clumps. I really like the look of dramatically dark and thick lashes, so I usually use this as a base and layer it with Lancome’s Définicils Lengthening and Defining Mascara. It’s water-resistant as well!
The Arbonne website says the Lip Treatment softens the appearance of fine lines on the lips, supports the skin’s natural moisture barrier, and works as a primer for lip products. I tried this out on a night where my lips were very dry and peeling badly, and in the morning they were fairly hydrated with only a tiny bit of peeling. I’d say this is definitely great for overnight use, but it’s not moisturizing enough as a lip primer for me. I like my lips super hydrated before putting lip products on, and I usually slather lip balm on beforehand.
I’ve been using the Lustre Fortifying Shampoo and Fortifying Crème Conditioner regularly and I’ve really been enjoying them. If you’ve got dyed or coloured hair, you’ll probably like them as well. The shampoo has fortifying ingredients that help prevent breakage and damage while the conditioner restores moisture. They also help to maintain your hair colour for up to 20 washes. I dyed my hair dark brown from blonde a few weeks ago, and it’s only faded very slightly.
The Hair Revitalizing Masque retains the colour and moisture in your hair. I’ve only tried this a few times along with the shampoo and conditioner, but I find that the conditioner does a good enough job for me. My hair isn’t as damaged as before because I cut off most of the bleached parts, and the last time I bleached my hair was over a year ago. If your hair is really damaged, this would probably be perfect for you!
I also received the Smoothed Over Lipsticks in Dahlia and Currant. Dahlia is a beautiful berry colour and it’s a touch darker in person. I don’t like wearing flashy lipsticks to work, but this one is muted enough to be an everyday colour. Currant is a pinky-red and it’s definitely more red in person. Both lipsticks are very moisturizing and have a nice glossy finish, but you definitely have to reapply them throughout the day. They’re actually 20% off right now on the site if you’re interested.
Have you ever tried any Arbonne products? Are you interested in any of these products? I’d love to hear about them in the comments!
