I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I went to the gym twice (and I’m still really sore), went shopping, attended a fun networking brunch, and took a lot of photos! Since the weather was so nice I did a lot of walking, and that didn’t help my already-sore legs. All in all, it was the most eventful weekend I’ve had in awhile.
I went shopping this weekend to look for denim shorts, but I couldn’t find any ones I liked. I was (and still am) looking for vintage Levi’s and the ones at Aritzia and Urban Outfitters all looked awkward on me. Urban Outfitters had a buy one get one half off sale for women this weekend, and I managed to find some really awesome pieces.
Look 1: Girl on Fire
I found this rad graphic choker tee and Alpha Industries bomber from the Urban Outfitters sale, both for half off! The bomber was already on sale for half off and the choker tee was half off because I got the bomber. I already have more bomber jackets than I need, but I’ve been really wanting an Alpha Industries one! I’m thinking of bringing it to Iceland later this year.
It wasn’t until I got home that I realized the top and bomber would look killer together, and I paired them with black denim and black booties for an edgy look. And yes, I did buy these roses because they matched my outfit #doitforthegram.
Look 2: Nighthawk
I’ve been obsessing over this tee since I got it, and I probably told Adam I loved it at least 10 times while I was wearing it. I thought the tee would look really cute with a skirt as well, so I paired it with this black denim skirt I received from Romwe. I added a leather jacket and black booties to make it more of a night-out look.
Are you feeling choker tops? What’s your favourite spring trend right now?
