Ladurée has been on my list of places to visit since last year when I found out they had a location in Canada. The only location in Canada is in Vancouver, and I’ve been dying to pay it a visit! I tried some of Ladurée’s macarons back when I was in Hong Kong, but I didn’t think they were as amazing as everyone made them out to be. When I tried their macarons freshly made at the Ladurée Vancouver cafe, I fell in love!

Everything about Ladurée was pretty. The walls were lined with beautiful wallpaper, the marble tables were a lifestyle Instagrammer’s dream, and the menus were absolutely adorable. I really wish I’d taken photos of the interior! There also wasn’t much natural lighting, so I wasn’t enticed to take that many photos.
It was pretty hot outside the day that my sister and I went so we decided to try the virgin cocktails instead of the tea. They were actually really delicious! I can’t remember which ones we got, but I do remember that mine tasted better haha.
We tried all of the macaron flavours except for the black liquorice because they didn’t have any left. I’m not a fan of black liquorice anyways, so it worked out for me. The macarons were slightly crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside, and they tasted so good. I was actually planning on coming back here on our last day so we could bring back some macarons to Toronto, but I forgot!
I really wish the service had been as good as the macarons. Our server was pretty grumpy, and he kind of killed the vibe. We’re all just tryna enjoy our sweets here!
If you’re interested in taking a piece of Paris home with you, they also have a variety of things like jams, perfumes, and candles for sale. I definitely will come back here next time I’m in Vancouver, but I would love to visit a Ladurée in Paris someday.
Have you ever been to Ladurée Vancouver or any other Ladurée locations? How did you like the macarons? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
