I can’t believe it’s already July! As many of you may know, Canada’s 150th birthday passed this weekend. I had dinner and watched fireworks with my friends, and it was a great time.
I feel extremely lucky to be from a place as wonderful as Canada. I was born and raised in Toronto, and it’s so amazing living in a place full of multiculturalism and diversity – a place where you don’t feel out of place because of who you are or what you look like. Toronto is a place full of opportunities, whatever industry you’re working in or whatever dreams and ambitions you have. It’s because of these reasons and more that I am proud to be Canadian.
I did a little series throughout the month of June in celebration of all things Canadian, and I thought I’d do a little roundup of all of the posts in case you guys missed any. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy these posts as much as I enjoyed putting them together!
One of my life goals is to visit every province and territory in Canada, and I did a little bucket list of all the places I’d love to see someday. PEI and Nova Scotia are currently on my list of places I really want to visit! Read more here.
I had the opportunity to visit the stunning South Pond Farms property several weeks ago for a blogger event, and it was absolutely amazing. It’s the perfect wedding venue to satisfy your Pinterest dreams! Read more here.
I recently visited Hamilton in celebration of National Best Friend’s Day with my friend Shay, thanks to Ford Canada. Ford aims to help bring people together, and they wanted to help reconnect my best friend and I by bringing us together on National Best Friend’s Day through a specifically curated trip. We had so much fun exploring waterfalls and eating delicious food! Read more here.
I came up with a simple outfit for Canada Day, incorporating red, white, denim, and a Toronto Blue Jays hat. On actual Canada Day I sported a red lip with a white off-the-shoulder dress and white converse during the day, and a red strapless bodysuit with blue jeans and white converse at night. Did you celebrate Canada Day this weekend? I’d love to hear about it in the comments!
