It seems like this heatwave will be here for a bit longer, so here’s a little #OOTD I can still get away with. I love the look of white on white, but sometimes it can look a little overdone if you’re not too careful. Here are a few tips on how you can style white on white without looking too over-the-top!

1. It’s all about the accessories
Wearing the right accessories can help make your outfit look less tacky. If you’re feeling adventurous, go with a pair of bright red shoes or a leopard print bag! If you want to be more subtle, go with a neutral colour like nude, brown, or black. I definitely wouldn’t go with a white pair of shoes though (maybe some white Chucks. Maybe.) I chose to go with these brown cutout Jeffrey Campbell booties (similar here).
2. Layer different shades
To make your outfit look a little more effortless, layer up different shades of white. I’m wearing a crisp white button-up with ivory denim shorts. If you plan on wearing white from head-to-toe, I definitely think you should have different shades of white in your outfit!
3. Add some textures
Mix up different textures in your outfit to separate the different pieces. Whether it’s a sheer top with some denim or a knit top with a lace skirt, having a variety of textures will make your outfit a lot more interesting!
Would you wear the white on white trend? What’s your favourite way to wear it? I’d love to know in the comments!
