Happy Friday friends! Biotherm sent me their new Skin Oxygen collection, and I thought I’d do a little first impressions post! The Skin Oxygen products are all about defending and repairing the skin from urban damage, which is perfect for city girls like me. Without further ado, these are my thoughts on the Biotherm Skin Oxygen collection!
All of the Skin Oxygen products are enriched with Chlorella Algae, known as ‘the breathing algae’. This freshwater algae has detoxifying powers that protect, strengthen, and depollute the skin. It’s able to bind to and remove toxins from the body, making it a powerful detoxifier! The Skin Oxygen products naturally detox your skin in just 7 days – I’ll be keeping you guys updated about my progress on my Instagram Stories.
What it does: This depolluting cleanser traps and removes impurities without drying out the skin.
First impressions: I started out my detox routine with the foaming melting gel. It comes out as a gel and foams up as you lather it on your skin with water, and it does a great job of removing makeup!
What it does: This silky lotion helps correct imperfections caused by pollutants, tighten enlarged pores, and reduce oily skin while keeping your skin pH balanced. It makes your skin more breathable and radiant.
First impressions: Next I used the oxygenating lotion, which acts as a toner. I thought it was an actual lotion so I pumped the product directly into my hand lol – be sure to use a cotton pad!
What it does: This concentrate strengthens the skin, repairs damage, and helps fight the look of premature signs of aging. It makes the skin appear smoother and regain an even, radiant, and healthy-looking complexion.
First impressions: I then applied the serum, which felt super nice on my skin! Since I’ll be entering my mid-twenties soon (sigh), anything that combats premature aging sounds good to me.
What it does: This oil-free cooling gel reinforces the skin barrier, moisturizes stressed skin, helps reduce sebum and avoid pollution particles adherence. It protects your skin, makes it look more radiant, and helps it breathe all day long.
First impressions: Lastly, I applied the cooling gel. It actually did have a nice cooling effect on my skin, and it wasn’t overbearing. As someone with very dry skin, it moisturized my skin the perfect amount – it didn’t dry it out and it didn’t make it super oily.
So, final thoughts? I really enjoyed the fresh scent of all the Skin Oxygen products, and my skin actually did look more radiant afterwards! Be sure to keep up with my Instagram Stories over the next week – I’ll keep you guys updated about my skin’s progress on there! You can shop the entire Biotherm Skin Oxygen collection on their website here.
How do you guys detox your skin? Have you tried out any of the Biotherm Skin Oxygen products yet? I’d love to know in the comments!
