Where to buy holiday dresses in Canada

Ever New

Based out of Melbourne, Ever New makes gorgeous and feminine pieces for both work and play.

They’ve got plenty of timeless and beautiful holiday dresses that can be worn for all of your festive occasions.

This black wrap knit dress would be so cute paired with knee-high leather boots or a long coat and glittery heels.

There’s also a similar wrap dress in satin instead that comes in a few pretty colours!

I also adore this satin cowl dress, which is made with recycled polyester and comes in a pretty teal or burgundy colour!

A lot of their dresses are in the pricier $100 to $200 range, but their pieces are timeless and can be worn for years to come.

A lot of their pieces are also eco-conscious, which is awesome!

Amazon Canada

Y’all know how much I love buying clothes on Amazon Canada – they always have great deals, and the shipping is super fast!

They have all kinds of popular brands like ASTR the Label and For Love & Lemons, and they even have their own in-house clothing brands like The Drop.

While you can’t shop on Amazon in-store (at least yet), you can get free same-day, 1-day, or 2-day shipping in various large cities across Canada!

You can find plenty of pretty holiday dresses on Amazon Canada, like this pretty ASTR the Label slip dress that reminds me of one of the dresses Ingrid wore on Netflix’s Partner Track.

I also adore this satin midi dress and mock neck knit dress, both from The Drop!

Abercrombie & Fitch

You might remember Abercrombie as the beachy, preppy clothing brand, but they actually have a lot of more modern and super cute pieces nowadays.

They have a lot of stunning holiday dresses and jumpsuits that you might see at Aritzia or Reformation, and they’re a little more affordable.

They’re also a sister brand to Hollister, if you didn’t know!

This long sleeve babydoll dress is so beautiful and perfect for more casual holiday events, and this high slit midi dress is gorgeous for any semi-formal events.

There’s also a pretty interesting documentary about Abercrombie on Netflix called White Hot: The Rise & Fall of Abercrombie & Fitch, which is all about their popularity back in the 90s and early 2000s!

Guess

I’ve been shopping at Guess since high school, and I’ve always adored the amazing and long-lasting quality of their pieces.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a piece of Guess clothing rip or damage on me, which I can’t say for any other clothing brand I’ve ever shopped from.

They also now have an eco-friendly collection made with sustainable materials, including their holiday dresses!

I love this satin wrap dress made with recycled polyester, this pretty mock neck bodycon dress, and this chic velvety bodycon dress.

(which comes in a few different colours).

A lot of their holiday dresses are in the $100 to $200 range, but I think it’s definitely worth it for the quality.

They also have a sister brand called Marciano, which I would say has more of an elegant and mature style.

Reformation

I literally die for the gorgeous and timeless holiday dresses at Reformation.

If you haven’t heard of Reformation before, they’re a sustainable fashion brand that makes gorgeous and modern pieces.

A lot of their holiday dresses are form-fitting and super flattering, and they usually have plenty of different prints and colours for each dress style.

I love this slimming midi dress, this amazing silk midi dress, and this long sleeve midi dress with a chic slit.

They are on the pricier end with most dresses in the $300 to $400 price range, but their pieces are ethically made with sustainable materials.

You can shop them online, and they have free express shipping, easy returns, and duty free shipping to Canada!

They have a store at Yorkdale Mall here in Toronto if you’re looking to try dresses on in-person.

You can also often find brand new or gently-worn Reformation dresses on Poshmark at a discount, and you can use my code “JESSICAILAM” to save $15 on your first order!

The Bay

Of course, we can’t forget the iconic Hudson’s Bay Company, which is the oldest clothing company in Canada.

They have all kinds of brands available at The Bay, from affordable to designer, and they have plenty of stunning holiday dresses you can shop.

My fave thing about shopping at The Bay is that they always have amazing deals!

I adore this puff sleeve satin mini dress from Adelyn Rae and this midi wrap dress from MINKPINK.

Kotn

Kotn is an amazing Toronto-based sustainable brand that makes quality basics, and they’ve got some lovely timeless dresses that are perfect for your fall and winter capsule wardrobes.

I love this mock neck dress and this knit turtleneck dress, both of which are perfect for more casual holiday gatherings.

Kotn is also a Certified B Corp, which means they do good by their employees and for the world!

H&M eco-conscious dress with Jeffrey Campbell booties
Dress: H&M (similar from H&M) | Boots: Jeffrey Campbell (similar from Jeffrey Campbell)

H&M

I’m not at all an advocate for fast fashion, but H&M has an eco-conscious line, and they’re at least working to be more sustainable.

Their eco-conscious collection is made with 20-50% recycled materials, and they have a lot of gorgeous and timeless holiday dresses.

I love that their eco-conscious collection is still affordable as well!

I’m obsessed with this sweetheart mini dress, this blazer dress, and this turtleneck sweater dress, all made using recycled polyester.

The dress I’m wearing in the above photo is from years ago, but H&M has similar dresses in cooler-toned floral prints and plain black.

Aritzia holiday dress in Toronto

Aritzia

You definitely know of Aritzia if you’re Canadian, but if you don’t, they’re a clothing brand based out of Vancouver.

A lot of their pieces are simple with a twist, so you can keep them in your wardrobe for years.

They’ve got plenty of gorgeous holiday dresses that you can have in your capsule wardrobe!

This wool sweater dress would look adorable with leather knee high boots.
