Planning a visit to Importfest in Toronto?
I’m not into cars at all. I mean, I enjoy admiring pretty cars and taking photos of them, but I know absolutely nothing about them.
If you ever spot me at any car events, you’ll probably catch me trying to get different angles with my camera instead of actually admiring the cars.
Rui and I went to Ertefa in May. He’s the one who’s into cars.
Ertefa was our first time going to any type of car event together and we didn’t really enjoy it as much as we thought we would.
We decided to try out Importfest, and we ended up enjoying it much more.
Ertefa seemed more like a car meet and Importfest seemed more like an exhibit.
Here’s what to expect if you’re planning a visit to Importfest Toronto!
What is Importfest?
Importfest is Canada’s largest car show, and it’s held in the Metro Toronto Convention Centre each summer.
If you’re looking for places to eat around the MTCC, I’ve got a blog post all about the best restaurants in the Entertainment District!
How much are tickets?
Tickets are $35 for general admission, $15 for kids, and free for children!
Na na na Batman…
Deadmau5’s car was here too!
These blue and purple cars were probably my favourite – they were so pretty!
We waited in line for two and a half hours to meet Dannie Riel.
Unfortunately, we only got one picture where we both looked half decent next to her.
Importfest Toronto is a fun experience if you have at least a mild interest in cars.
Have you been to Importfest Toronto? How did you like it? I’d love to know in the comments!
