Ladurée Vancouver has been on my list of places to visit since last year, when I found out they had a location in Canada.
The only location in Canada is in Vancouver (update: they’re now in Toronto as well), and I’ve been dying to pay it a visit!
I tried some of Ladurée’s macarons back when I was in Hong Kong, but I didn’t think they were as amazing as everyone made them out to be.
When I tried their macarons freshly made at the Ladurée Vancouver cafe, I fell in love!
Everything about this Ladurée location was pretty.
The walls were lined with beautiful wallpaper, the marble tables were a lifestyle Instagrammer’s dream, and the menus were absolutely adorable.
I really wish I’d gotten some photos of the interior!
There also wasn’t much natural lighting, so I wasn’t enticed to take too many photos.
Sweet, sweet virgin cocktails
It was pretty hot outside the day that my sister and I went, so we decided to try the virgin cocktails instead of the hot tea.
I can’t remember which ones we got, but they were actually really delicious!
We tried all of the macaron flavours except for the black liquorice because they didn’t have any left.
I’m not a fan of black liquorice anyways, so it worked out I guess.
The macarons were slightly crunchy on the outside and very soft on the inside, and they tasted so good.
I really wish the service had been as good as the macarons.
Our server was pretty grumpy, and he kind of killed the vibe.
We’re just tryna enjoy our sweets here.
If you’re interested in taking a piece of Paris home with you, they also have a variety of things like jams, perfumes, and candles for sale.
Next on my bucket list: a visit to Ladurée in Paris.
Vancouver flights & accommodations
Looking to book your flights and accommodations for Vancouver?
I love booking my flights and hotels on Expedia and collecting points towards free rewards.
Hotels are pretty pricy in Vancouver, but they’re great if you plan on only staying downtown and walking around without a car. Downtown Vancouver’s very walkable!
I usually stay in Airbnbs when I visit Vancouver, and I have a separate blog post all about how to find the best Airbnbs.
Have you ever been to Ladurée Vancouver or any other Ladurée locations? How did you like the macarons? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
