When is the Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale in Canada?
The Amazon Prime Big Deal Days sale is a 48-hour event happening from October 10th to 11th, 2023 in Canada.
Yep, that’s two full days of savings for all your holiday gift shopping!
This time last year, they had the Prime Early Access Sale, so I believe Prime Big Deal Days is a new name for it!
How can I find out about the best Amazon Prime Big Deal Days deals?
You can peep out all the latest deals as they come at amazon.ca/primebigdealdays, and I’ll also be regularly updating this post with the best deals I find.
Be sure to download the Amazon app on your phone or tablet to keep tabs on all the best deals, and turn on “Personalized Notifications” in your settings to get customized deal notifications specific to your past searches!
How much is an Amazon Prime membership in Canada?
An Amazon Prime membership in Canada is $99 CAD a year, and includes a whole bunch of different benefits:
- Free same-day, 1-day, or 2-day shipping
- Watch shows & movies on Prime Video
- Listen to music on Prime Music
- Read books on Prime Reading
There’s more to Amazon Prime than just the free two-day shipping, and it’s all included in the yearly membership fee!
Also, some of the bigger cities in Canada even have free same or one-day shipping.
Right now you can get free same or one-day shipping in these Canadian cities:

- Vancouver
- Montreal
- Calgary
- Edmonton

If you’re a student, membership is 50% off, and you actually get a free 6–month trial instead of a 30-day one!

Of course, you can expect to find deals on Amazon brand products, including their wide range of electronics and smart home products.
We use our Echo Show 15 literally every single day – Alexa is basically our BFF at this point. You can shop Echo Show devices on sale for up to 44% off, and they would actually make great holiday gift ideas!
Select Fire TV products are on sale for up to 50% off, including the Fire TV Stick, which operates as a mini streaming device that you can plug into any TV. It’s especially great for traveling!
Kindle e-readers are on sale for up to 25% off, including the Kindle Paperwhite. As much as I like turning pages of physical books, Kindles are much more practical to carry around.
We just got our first Samsung TV last year, and we’ve been loving it so far. You can shop select Samsung TVs (OLED, QLED, and Crystal UHD) on sale for up to 13% off!
Home & kitchen deals
