About Jessica Lam, the Toronto blogger
Howdy, friend! My name’s Jessica and I’m the writer behind Diary of a Toronto Girl, one of Toronto’s top lifestyle blogs.
In 2017 I graduated from Ryerson University’s RTA School of Media. My original plan was to move to Vancouver after graduation and work as a film editor, but I fell in love with digital media while at Ryerson. I got my first big girl job not long after graduation, but I was able to take on blogging full-time in mid-2018.
I’ve written articles about Toronto for publications including Lonely Planet, Culture Trip, and Narcity Canada, and you can find my samples of work on my contact page.
About Diary of a Toronto Girl: a Canadian lifestyle blog
I started Diary of a Toronto Girl in the summer of 2015 to document my adventures with my friends. It’s since become both a diary of my own life and a resource for all things lifestyle, reaching over 1.7 million unique visitors in the last 6 years.
While Diary of a Toronto Girl is a blog mainly about lifestyle, I occasionally write about my other loves: fashion, beauty, travel, and food! I’m passionate about a lot of things, which is why I pretty much talk about anything and everything on here.
My goal is to inspire you to break out of your comfort zone, be your absolute best self, and work hard to achieve your dreams.
Diary of a Toronto Girl is a space full of positivity and good vibes. Feel free to stick around for a bit!
