Pho Ngoc Yen Restaurant

This family owned and operated Vietnamese restaurant in Mississauga serves up a variety of elevated Southern Vietnamese dishes that you typically won’t find in other places.

Enjoy classic pho with beef balls, rare beef, boneless beef shank, or chicken, or go for other noodle soup offerings like Bun Bo Hue (spicy lemongrass soup) or Bun Goi Gia (tamarind soup).

You’ll also find unique dishes like their crispy marinated mackerel in turmeric lemongrass broth and their fried escargot cake and conch meat in lemongrass broth.

They’ve also got an extensive vegetarian menu, which is great news for my vegetarian friends!

I Love Pho

This beloved pho restaurant in Mississauga serves up authentic Vietnamese eats alongside some Thai and Chinese dishes.

Try their Pho Suon Bo (short rib pho), Bun Mam (fermented fish soup), or their Bun Hoac Com Ca Ri Ga (curry chicken soup).

You’ll also find delicious appetizers like their Bo Tai Chanh (beef ceviche), Goi Vit (duck salad), and a variety of Goi Cuon (fresh rolls) options.

They’ve got two locations you can visit in Mississauga!

Pho Brothers

Pho Brothers is another one of Mississauga’s best pho spots, and they serve up a variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes alongside some Chinese dishes.

Go for classic pho or enjoy more unique dishes like their House Special Satay or My Tho-style seafood soups with clear noodles.

They even offer Vietnamese hot pot, and you can choose between several different options including Beef Deep in Special Spicy Vinegar Hotpot, Assorted Seafood Hotpot, and Thai-Style Spicy Hotpot.

The decor of the restaurant is also pretty cute!

You even get to choose your proteins, and you can choose between Black Angus beef tenderloin, prime ribs, grilled veal, or oxtail.

They’ve also got Bun Bo Hue, Banh Da Cua (crab cake soup), and plenty of other Vietnamese noodle soups you won’t find in other Vietnamese restaurants in the GTA.

Pho Hung Restaurant in Chinatown, Toronto

Pho Hung

Pho Hung is one of Toronto’s best pho restaurants, and they’ve got a location in Mississauga!

I typically get either the pho with rare beef and beef balls, Bun Rieu, or Bun Bo Hue, along with an avocado shake.

If you haven’t had an avocado shake before, it might sound a little weird to you, but it is truly amazing.

Pho Hung in Chinatown, Toronto

They opened up down the street from their current location in Chinatown back in 1985 (almost 40 years ago), and they now occupy a larger space (which gets filled up quickly).

Pho-Com 99

Pho-Com 99 offers up a wide variety of traditional Vietnamese staples alongside Thai and Chinese dishes.

You’ll find an extensive menu filled with comforting noodle soups, including Pho Bo Sate (satay beef soup), Bun Rieu Cua (crab soup), and Ca Ri De (curry goat soup).

Pho XL

As you can tell from their name, this contemporary Mississauga pho spot is all about big portions and big flavours.
