If you’re wondering whether the Ipsy Glam Bag is worth subscribing to for Canadians, I’ve got a review today for ya!
If you subscribe to any subscription boxes, you’ll know how exciting and fun they are – it’s like receiving surprise gifts every so often!
I spent a lot of time researching ones I wanted to subscribe to, and Ipsy is so far the only one I’ve actually continued with.
Subscription boxes can be quite expensive, especially with shipping costs, and sometimes the products in the boxes aren’t worth the price.
Anyway, here’s my review of the Ipsy Glam Bag and whether it’s worth it for Canadians!
Be sure to also follow me on Instagram and TikTok – I share a lot more content on those platforms that don’t make it to the blog!
What is the Ipsy Glam Bag?

You might’ve already heard of the Ipsy Glam Bag.
It’s a subscription service by Michelle Phan, where you receive a mixture of sample-sized and full-sized beauty products once a month.
I received my first ever Ipsy Glam Bag last month and I really liked it!
I love the idea of sampling different products I never would’ve tried otherwise.
As a Canadian, it’s roughly $20 including tax and shipping for me, so I definitely think it’s worth it.
How much is Ipsy in Canada?
The Ipsy Glam Bag costs around $20 including tax and shipping for Canadians, which is a little pricier than our American friends.
Is Ipsy worth it?
Since you get a mixture of both sample and full-sized products, it is worth subscribing to Ipsy if you’re a beauty lover.
$20 barely even gets you a full-sized product at Sephora!
My Ipsy Glam Bag review

I’ve gotten several different Ipsy Glam Bags already, and I’ve really enjoyed it.
It comes in different and fun zippered bags every month, which you can use as makeup bags, pencil cases, or just storage.
In my Ipsy Glam Bag this month, I received:
- Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Delish
- mPrincess Pressed Eyeshadow in Chestnut
- Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Mini
- Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer
- Vasanti Cosmetics Professional Contour Eyeshadow Brush

Tarte Tarteist Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Delish
The Tarte lip paint doesn’t look that impressive in the tube, but when you apply it on it looks stunning.
It’s a gorgeous rosy mauve shade and it’s super long-lasting.
It also feels a bit drying, so I always make sure to moisturize my lips beforehand.
I’m obsessed with this colour and I’m definitely going to get the full size once I run out!
mPrincess Pressed Eyeshadow in Chestnut
The mPrincess pressed eyeshadow is very creamy and it’s pretty sheer at first application, but it’s definitely buildable.
The colour is pretty much exactly what you see in the container.
Dr. Brandt Microdermabrasion Mini
I wasn’t too excited with Dr. Brandt’s Microdermabrasion as I’d already received it as a sample from Sephora and I wasn’t a fan of it.
It’s supposed to buff away dead skin cells, enhance the radiance of your skin, and minimize the look of lines, spots, and uneven texture, but it didn’t really do anything for me.
Eva NYC Mane Magic 10-in-1 Primer
It is insane how well the Mane Magic Primer detangles your hair.
To make sure I wasn’t just imagining things, I tested out combing my hair before and after spraying the primer, and it really did work!
If you have dry or dead hair from dying it a lot, you’ll love this product.
Vasanti Cosmetics Professional Contour Eyeshadow Brush
The Vasanti Cosmetics eyeshadow brush is very fluffy and it does a pretty good job of blending.
I don’t really need anymore brushes as I already have my core ones, so I hope I don’t get one in next month’s bag.

For everything you get in the Ipsy Glam Bag, even if most of it is sample-sized, $20 CAD is definitely worth it.
It’s about $13 for my American friends, but I’m not sure about additional shipping costs.
If you’re hesitant, I’d recommend trying the Ipsy Glam Bag at least once and seeing how you like it!

I thought about subscribing to the Ipsy bag so this was a really helpful post - there are so many subscription beauty services lately and it's hard to keep track of what items comes in what bag and such.

I wanted to try (I think it's called) Birchbox, but I don't think it's available to Canadians! Ipsy is really fun though :)
