As someone who struggles with eczema, I need the best moisturizers for dry skin.
I’ve had dry skin and eczema for my entire life, and it’s definitely annoying to live with.
I literally have to put on creams and moisturizers as soon as I wash my face or shower, or I’ll get dry patches almost immediately.
I constantly have eczema flare-ups on my hands from washing them all the time (clean freak here).
When my eczema starts to act up, I have to wear long sleeves and pants at home (even during the summer) to keep myself from scratching and to keep the sweat from hurting the cuts.
While it’s definitely a struggle, I’ve found creams that work for my skin to keep it hydrated all day and night.
Here are the best face moisturizers for dry and sensitive skin, in my own personal opinion!

Best face creams & moisturizers for very dry skin
1. Dr Roebuck’s No Worries Hydrating Face Moisturizer
One of my all-time favourite moisturizers is Dr Roebuck’s No Worries Hydrating Face Moisturizer.
They’re an Australian-based clean skincare brand, and their moisturizer is actually their #1 best-seller.
It features Hyaluronic Acid, which is an ingredient that’s known for drawing moisture deep into the skin.
It’s also vegan, if that’s what you’re looking for!
Where to buy it:
2. LANEIGE Water Bank Moisture Cream
I’m a huge fan of LANEIGE’s skincare products – there isn’t a single product I’ve tried from LANEIGE that I haven’t loved!
I just love Korean skincare, and they make incredible products that are super moisturizing for dry skin.
The LANEIGE Water Bank Moisture Cream is one of the best face moisturizers to use if you have dry skin!
Their sleeping masks are also amazing – using them is like having a mini-facial overnight.
Where to buy it:
3. Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Moisturizer
My parents have both been using the Olay Total Effects Anti-Aging Moisturizer since they were teenagers, and they credit their youthful looks to it.
When I go out to new restaurants with them, we often get confused as a group of friends and they ask if we want separate bills.
Do my parents look young? Do I look old?
Idk, but many people have asked my parents for their skincare secret over the years, and they always say it’s Olay’s Total Effects Anti-Aging Moisturizer.
They introduced it to me when I was a teen, and I still think it’s one of the best moisturizers out there for dry skin.
The fact that it’s anti-aging is also a plus – prevention is key!
Where to buy it:
4. Innisfree Green Tea Seed Cream
Another great Korean beauty brand that I love is Innisfree.
Innisfree is a natural Korean beauty brand, and they source their ingredients from the gorgeous Jeju Island.
Known as the Hawaii of Korea, Jeju Island has everything from volcanoes to waterfalls!
The Innisfree Green Tea Seed Cream includes organic green tea from Innisfree’s very own farms on Jeju Island.
It kinda has a cooling sensation on your skin after applying, and it leaves it looking v glowy and feeling v moisturized.
Where to buy it:
5. Dr. Belmeur Advanced Cica Hydro Cream
Dr. Belmeur is another amazing K-beauty brand, and their Advanced Cica Hydro Cream helps to soothe and moisturize sensitive and damaged skin.
I love it because it’s not too heavy as a day cream, and it’s super moisturizing for my dry skin!
Where to buy it:
6. Lavido Age Away Replenishing Cream
If you’re into clean and natural skincare, you’ll love the brand Lavido.
Lavido Age Away Replenishing Cream is a great moisturizing face cream that you can use day or night, and it’s all natural.
They’re based in Israel, and they source their ingredients locally within the country.
I had the chance to meet the founder here in Toronto, and his story is incredible.
He literally started by whipping up a skincare product just as a gift for a family member, and Lavido is now the largest skincare brand in Israel!
Where to buy it:
7. Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream
Fun fact: thirty rose flowers go into every single tube of Dr. Hauschka’s Rose Day Cream!
It’s a super thick and creamy face moisturizer that’s excellent for dry skin, and it feels super luxurious.
If you suffer from dry skin, thick and creamy is exactly what you want – the light gel creams are not for ya.
