Best bubble tea spots in Scarborough
Chatime
Chatime is definitely one of the most popular bubble tea spots in the GTA, and I was absolutely obsessed when they first opened in Toronto while I was in university.
The Chatime Signature Milk Tea is my go-to drink, but I also love their Thai Iced Tea.
You’ll also find delicious pastries and baked goods from Bake Code, a Euro-Asian bakery franchise owned by the same company behind Chatime!
They’ve got 5 locations in Scarborough, including one inside the Scarborough Town Centre.
Fun fact: Chatime is actually the largest tea franchise in the world, and they’re originally based out of Taiwan!

The Alley
The Alley is another global bubble tea franchise, and they’re known for their delicious brown sugar pearls and Instagrammable drinks.
All of their locations are super cute and Instagram-worthy as well!
The Aurora Series drinks are pretty gradient fruit teas in glass bottles, and the Brown Sugar Deerioca is my fave drink.
You can find them by Midland & Finch or inside the Scarborough Town Centre.

Machi Machi
Machi Machi’s aesthetic is absolutely adorable, and their drinks are v pretty as well.
Some of their drinks even come in cute little bottled containers!
They’ve got some pretty unique drinks, like their Fresh Strawberry Latte with Panna Cotta (made with real strawberries)!
You can find them in Scarborough by Midland & Finch.

Xing Fu Tang
Xing Fu Tang has so many delicious milk drinks and fruit teas, and I absolutely adore the Signature Brown Sugar Handmade Pearl Milk and Taro Milk.
When you go in-store, you can see the fresh and handmade brown sugar pearls in a giant metal bowl!
They import a lot of their main ingredients from Taiwan, and they make their drinks using the same formula they’ve been using for decades.
You can find their Scarborough location by Midland & Finch!

Moge Tee
This adorable bubble tea shop by Midland & Finch serves up all kinds of delicious and unique bubble teas.
Go for something classic like their Brown Sugar Bubble Fresh Milk, or go for something more unique like their Yogurt Peach Tea or Fresh Avocado Tea!
You can also enjoy a variety of bakery offerings from Mofu Bakery, including mochi muffins and cake in cans.

Cha Miao
Cha Miao is also located by Midland & Finch, and you’ll find all kinds of fun and colourful bubble tea options here.
Some of their drinks even have flower bulbs in them, so they’re super Instagrammable.
You can go for something classic like their Assorted Milk Tea, or try something unique like their Miao Miao Lychee Enzyme or Avocado Yogurt Slush!
They’ve also got two locations downtown and one in Markham.

Gong Cha
Gong Cha is a Taiwanese bubble tea franchise with over 1,000 stores worldwide.
I actually tried it for the first time while in Hong Kong several years ago, though they were already in the GTA at that time!
You can find them inside the Scarborough Town Centre.

TP Tea
This Taiwanese company is all about paying homage to the tea drinking culture of the Tang Dynasty, and they create blends of different tea leaves for their unique drinks.
Enjoy unique seasonal drinks like their Mint Choco Milk Tea Slush or Strawberry Green Milk Tea!
You can find their Scarborough location by Midland & Finch.

PannTea
This Guangzhou-based tea brand serves up a wide variety of drinks in their adorable space.
From classic brewed teas, to Yakult drinks, to milk teas, you’ll find all kinds of delicious bubble tea options to choose from.
Definitely try the White Rabbit Milk Tea or Patisserie Bubble Milk Tea if you’re looking for something fun and unique.
They even have healthy and traditional Chinese drinks, like their Longan and Jujube Tea and Osmanthus Pear Tea!
You can also go for classic drinks like their Taro Slush, which features popping candy as a topping for a fun twist.
Their only Canadian store is located in Scarborough, by Steeles & Middlefield!

Shuyi Tealicious
Shuyi is a bubble tea chain from Chengdu, and they’ve got all kinds of delicious fruit teas and milk teas.
If you love ingredients like grass jelly and taro balls, you’ll definitely love the drink selection at Shuyi!
From their Mango Coconut Taro Balls to their Strawberry Cheese Green Tea, they’ve got plenty of fruity drink options to choose from.
They have over 7000 locations worldwide, with 10 locations in Ontario, and you can find their Scarborough location by Midland & Steeles.
LOCATION: 633 Silver Star Boulevard, 107 B, Scarborough, ON
CoCo Fresh Tea & Juice
CoCo is a popular Taiwanese bubble tea franchise that’s been around for over two decades, and they’ve now got over 4,000 stores worldwide.
They opened their very first store in Toronto back in 2014, and now they’ve got more than 50 stores across Ontario!
My go-to order is always the Red Bean Matcha Milk Tea, but I love trying other fun new drinks they have, like their Strawberry Black Tea Macchiato.
Their Taro Milk Tea is also my fave out of any bubble tea shops in the GTA!
I do find that CoCo makes their drinks pretty sweet, so if you don’t like things too sweet, ask for a lower amount of sweetness.
They’ve got 8 locations you can visit in Scarborough, including at Midland & Finch and inside Woodside Square Mall.

Presotea
This Taiwanese franchise teahouse is all about bubble tea, fruit tea, and slushes, and they brew their tea using high-end espresso machines.
The Hokkaido Milk Tea is usually my go-to drink here, but I always love trying the seasonal drinks as well.
Presotea has locations all across the GTA, and you can find their Scarborough location inside Bridlewood Mall.

Ten Ren’s Tea
Perhaps one of the oldest bubble tea shops out of this entire list (founded in Taiwan in the 1950s), Ten Ren’s has been in the GTA for quite a long time.
You can find them inside Scarborough Town Centre!
