10 Best Restaurants in Niagara Falls, Ontario

Looking for the best restaurants in Niagara Falls to eat at?

Niagara Falls is one of those places where you can visit every year without getting bored of it, whether you’re visiting during the summer or any other time of year.

Summer is definitely the busiest season in Niagara Falls, but it’s also fun to visit during other seasons as well – I love visiting during the beautiful fall season with all the foliage!

There’s a mix of chain restaurants (mostly American) as well as some local restaurants around Niagara Falls.

You’ll definitely want to grab a glass of wine at one of these restaurants if you can, as Niagara Falls is right by the beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake (AKA wine country).

Here are some of the best food spots and restaurants to eat at in Niagara Falls, Ontario!

Drinks at IHOP Niagara Falls, Ontario

IHOP

Niagara Falls is the only place in Ontario where you can find the American IHOP breakfast chain, and they have seven restaurants there!

It’s literally breakfast heaven there, so indulge in all of your pancake dreams.

There are actually a lot of American restaurant chains on the Ontario side of Niagara Falls, like TGI Fridays and Applebee’s!

The Blind Pig in Niagara Falls is a speakeasy-inspired gastropub, and they’ve got all kinds of different fusion dishes on their menu.

Try their Korean Fried Chicken, Wonton Nachos, or Kimchi Grilled Cheese, or go with an elevated salad, burger, or pizza.

They also have a short but sweet menu of handcrafted classic cocktails, beer, and wine.

Every table also has USB charge outlets, in case you need to recharge after a day of exploring Niagara Falls.

The “blind pig” is actually a term that dates back to 1920s Prohibition – also known as a speakeasy, it basically referred to a place where you could secretly buy and drink bootlegged alcohol!

Taps Brewhouse

If you’re looking to try some local craft beer in Niagara Falls, stop by Taps Brewhouse.

They brew their craft beer in small batches using only 4 ingredients, and they’re all available on-tap in the restaurant.

The Works

The Works is one of my favourite burger chains here in Ontario.

They have like a million different burger combinations you can completely customize, and you can choose everything from the bun to the patty!

I usually grab whatever the burger special is for that season, but I also love the Hipster, which features caramelized onions, avocado, and havarti cheese.

The burgers come with your choice of side, and I always go for the spicy die cut chips (SO GOOD).

For appetizers, definitely grab the Wrecking Balls – they’re bacon-wrapped cheddar tater tots with bacon garlic aioli and bacon sticks (AKA Hickory Sticks).

If you don’t grab the Wrecking Balls, still ask for the amazing bacon garlic aioli to dip your spicy die cut chips!

Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada

Queen Victoria Place Restaurant

Honestly, the food here isn’t anything mind-blowing, but it’s the view of Niagara Falls from the patio that’s worth it.

It’s located literally right by the Falls, so it’s the easiest spot to visit if you’re looking for something super close.

Be sure to ask for an outdoor patio seat if you want the view!

The Keg Steakhouse + Bar

The Keg is a classic Canadian steakhouse chain, and it’s probably one of the best places in Canada to get a good steak.

My family and I love coming here for special occasions – I love the Filet Mignon!

I’m rarely disappointed by The Keg – they’ve always got delicious options on the menu.

If you’re looking to grab appetizers as well, try the Escargot, Scallops & Bacon, or the Baked Brie (the red pepper jelly is awesome).

Table Rock House Restaurant

Looking for more Niagara Falls restaurants with a view?

The Table Rock House Restaurant is located right by the Horseshoe Falls, so definitely try to reserve a seat by the windows to get a great view.

If you come for dinner, you can enjoy the falls illuminated in all the pretty colours!

Table Rock is Feast On certified, which means they use mainly locally-sourced ingredients on their menus – something I always admire from restaurants!

The restaurant is also in the same building as the Journey Behind the Falls attraction, so it’s a great spot to grab a meal before or after!

LOCATION: 6650 Niagara Pkwy, Niagara Falls, ON

Caesar salad and garlic bread at Skylon Tower Restaurant in Niagara Falls, Ontario

Skylon Tower

Skylon Tower is yet another restaurant with a fantastic view of Niagara Falls.

It’s a revolving restaurant, so you can see a complete 360 view of the Falls while enjoying your dinner (from 775 feet above the Falls!)

Like most touristy restaurants, the food isn’t anything to write home about, but the experience of seeing the Falls from up above is worth it.

You also get complimentary access to the observation deck if you eat at the restaurant!

If you’d rather just go straight up to the observation deck, you can purchase tickets for that instead.
