There are consignment shops that have all kinds of brands like Forever 21 and Aritzia, and there are consignment shops that specifically only sell luxury brands like Chanel and Louis Vuitton.
I’m personally not much of a luxury shopper, but I know plenty of people are, and there are plenty of high-end consignment shops in Toronto.

Best consignment stores in Toronto
Common Sort
Common Sort has one of the best curated selections of secondhand pieces in Toronto, which is probably because they’re super picky with what they buy.
They have all kinds of trendy pieces from brands like Topshop and Aritzia, as well as some awesome vintage clothing pieces.
I love that they feature pieces in styled outfits on their Instagram page, where you can also place things on hold (you have to pickup on the same day).
They have 3 locations at Riverside, Parkdale, and the Annex, though I’ve personally only been to the Riverside location.
Be wary that the wait time while they price your items can take a long time, so plan ahead!
If you’re stopping into the Annex location, hit up one of the best Annex restaurants while you wait!
How to sell: Bring your gently-used clothes (by appointment only), have them review your items, then get 50% of the value in store credit or 25% in cash on the spot.
LOCATION: Various locations
Plato’s Closet
Plato’s Closet also has a very curated selection of trendy clothes from brands like H&M, Topshop, Zara, and Aritzia.
They have over two dozen locations across Ontario, but I’ve personally only been to the one in Richmond Hill!
Their only downtown location is by the Junction neighbourhood by Jane & St. Clair.
They’re a US-based company, but all their stores in Canada are individually owned and operated by local business owners.

Evergreen Consignment Studio
Evergreen is a mother-and-daughter owned online consignment shop that’s based out of Kitchener and Oakville.
Since it’s such a small shop, they have a very curated selection from brands like Dynamite, Banana Republic, and Aritzia.
Buying and selling is all done online, which makes everything pretty easy!
If no one purchases your pieces when your selling period ends, they donate to an amazing charity called Thrift on Kent.
How to sell: Fill out the application on their website and a team member will reach out to you.
I Miss You Vintage
I Miss You Vintage is all about trendy and modern pieces from major runway brands and contemporary designer labels.

If luxury consignment pieces are what you’re after, VSP Consignment in Toronto is the place to go.
They’ve got clothing and accessories from high-end luxury brands like Gucci, Hermes, and Prada, as well as more mid-range designer brands like 7 for All Mankind and Agolde.
The owner took inspiration from her mother’s consignment shop, Vespucci Consignment in Calgary!

They’ve got plenty of high-end designer pieces for women and men, including brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Gucci.
You can shop their selection online or visit their store in the Queen West neighbourhood.

Garb Consignment
Garb is another consignment shop on Queen West.
You can shop both women’s and men’s luxury secondhand pieces from brands like Burberry, Max Mara, and Comme Des Garcons.
They take luxury designer labels, Canadian designers, and mid to high-range brands like ACNE and Rag & Bone, and they actually have a selection of brands they do and don’t accept on their website.
You get 50% of the selling price once your item sells, and if it doesn’t sell within 90 days, you have to pick your item back up in-store.
