Best heated patios in Toronto
Terroni
Craving some fresh, hot, and authentic Italian pizza to warm up your belly?
Terroni has a few locations across Toronto which all have patios, but their Rosedale location on Price Street is definitely one of the most beautiful patios in Toronto.
Their rooftop patio features wood-panelled ceilings, hanging straw lamps, plenty of greenery, and most important of all: outdoor heaters.
Definitely ask to get the table facing the LCBO (which occupies the historic building across the street) for that incredible skyline view!
If you’re looking for even more places to eat in the Rosedale area, peep out my post on the best restaurants in Midtown Toronto.
LOCATION: Various locations
Her Father’s Cider Bar + Kitchen
Her Father’s serves up all the cider you can dream of – literally over 100 different ones from around Ontario and the world.
Plus, they’ve got incredible farm-to-table Canadian dishes using local and seasonal ingredients.
Their Crispy Brussels Sprouts are literally *chef’s kiss* if you’re in the mood to share an appetizer.
Their restaurant is all about the rustic vibes, while their side patio features a gorgeous and vibrant mural.
They even give you blankets to keep warm on chilly days!
LOCATION: 119 Harbord St, Toronto, ON
Bar Raval
Enjoy Spanish tapas and craft cocktails at this swanky restaurant by Chef Grant van Gameron, which also has an enclosed patio with heaters during the cooler months.
They’ve got a menu full of classic and house cocktails, as well as local beers and ciders and local and imported European wines.
The interior of Bar Raval is also super unique and romantic, and you can find them right by College & Bathurst!
Interesting thing about this spot: they have extremely limited seating, and you’re meant to stand while enjoying your tapas and drinks!
They also received Bib Gourmand designation on this year’s Toronto Michelin Guide, which is pretty cool!
LOCATION: 505 College St, Toronto, ON
The Broadview Hotel
Located in the east end of Toronto, The Broadview Hotel is a chic historic hotel that was built as a commercial centre in the late 1800s.
They have a few dining spaces within the hotel, and one of them is their rooftop restaurant that includes a gorgeous outdoor terrace with CN Tower views!
They add outdoor heaters during the chillier months so you can wine and dine while not freezing your booty off.
You can enjoy seasonal dishes made with locally-sourced produce and all kinds of fancy schmancy cocktails.
Definitely a spot worth booking your next staycation at – you can book a stay on Expedia!
P.S. The photo I featured above is actually in their bistro downstairs, which is also super cute!
LOCATION: 106 Broadview Ave, Toronto, ON
King Taps
King Taps occupies a massive two-storey space in the Financial District, and they’ve got patio spaces both upstairs and downstairs (which are even covered with huge umbrellas for rainy days!)
Craft beer and pizza are the specialties here at King Taps – I’m obsessed with the BBQ Chicken and Stinging Bee pizzas.
We also really love their appetizers, and they switch up the menu every so often!
King Taps is located at First Canadian Place, so it’s super easy to get to whether you work in the area or just want to have a taste of the awesome food and drinks.
They also now have a location out on the west coast if you find yourself in Kelowna!
LOCATION: 100 King St W, Toronto, ON
Gusto 101
Gusto 101 is one of the best restaurants on King West, and you’ll find them in the chic King & Portland neighbourhood.
They’re housed in an old industrial-esque building that actually used to be an auto shop!
You can enjoy classic Italian eats and wine on their rooftop patio, which has a retractable glass roof for rainy days.
LOCATION: 250 Adelaide St. West, Toronto, ON
Northern Maverick Brewing Co.
Northern Maverick is one of the best craft breweries in Toronto, and they’ve got a super cool patio near King and Bathurst.
Slurp on some fresh oysters or taste some of their house-cured meats on their charcuterie boards alongside their amazing craft beers!
LOCATION: 115 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON
Cluny Bistro & Boulangerie
Cluny is one of the cutest and best restaurants in the Distillery District, and they’ve got a beautiful semi-enclosed outdoor patio decked out with outdoor heaters during the colder months.
You can enjoy all of the European vibes while indulging in delicious French dishes without even having to leave Toronto.
It’s a super cute patio to visit with your girlfriends, or to go on a romantic date!
LOCATION: 35 Tank House Lane, Toronto, ON
El Catrin Destileria
El Catrin is also located in the Distillery District, and they’ve got a stunning and super cute patio out front for you to enjoy your Mexican feast.
You can enjoy traditional and modern Mexican bites here, like their Pibil Jackfruit Sopes or their Guacamole with *gasp* crickets as an add-on.
They’ve also got the largest tequila and mezcal collection in Canada, which is pretty cool!
LOCATION: 18 Tank House Lane, Toronto, ON
