Best rooftop patios in Toronto

The Chase Fish and Oyster Restaurant in Toronto

The Chase Fish and Oyster

The Chase’s gorgeous outdoor rooftop patio right in the heart of downtown offers up stunning views of Toronto buildings.

They serve up seafood-focused small plates and craft cocktails on their menu, and everything is absolutely delicious.

They’ve also got seafood platters, which are perfect for sharing!

The Chase Fish and Oyster Restaurant in Toronto

If you’re visiting during winter, you can dine inside their stunning rooftop restaurant.

It’s definitely a romantic spot if you’re looking to impress someone!

LOCATION: 10 Temperance St Fl 5, Toronto, ON

Terroni

If you’re craving some authentic Italian pizza, you’ll def want to hit up Terroni’s patio.

Terroni has a few locations across Toronto and they all have patios, but their Rosedale location on Price Street is one of the most beautiful patios in Toronto.

Their rooftop patio features wood panelled ceilings, hanging straw lamps, plenty of greenery, and even an incredible skyline view (especially if you get the table facing the LCBO occupying the historic building across the street).

Lavelle Rooftop Bar in Toronto, Ontario

Lavelle

Lavelle offers up stunning 360 views of the Toronto skyline from their rooftop patio, which sits 16 storeys high in the King West neighbourhood.

They serve up Brazilian & Japanese-inspired cuisine alongside unique cocktails, and their sushi is actually pretty dang good.

There’s a lounge bar, private cabanas, and 3 pools available to swim in for a daily fee.

LOCATION: 627 King St. West, Toronto, ON

Kost Restaurant at Bisha Hotel, Toronto

Kōst

If you’re feeling good and boujee, pay a visit to Kōst at Toronto’s Bisha Hotel, one of the best boutique hotels in Toronto.

While I’ll admit I’m not crazy about the food, the vibes and the views are definitely worth it.

It’s on the 44th floor, so you can enjoy panoramic views of the city skyline on the rooftop patio.

There’s even an outdoor pool on the rooftop patio if you’re looking to enjoy some water activities on a hot summer day!

LOCATION: 80 Blue Jays Way, Toronto, ON

District Eatery, Toronto

District Eatery

District Eatery is the perfect spot to visit if you’re watching what you’re eating, because they’re all about clean eats.

Their rooftop patio is super nice, and it’s the perfect spot to grab craft cocktails and shareable dishes with your friends!

LOCATION: 303 King St. West, Toronto, ON

Bar Hop

I’ve frequented Bar Hop for their $1 oysters and craft beer selection, and their 3-storey restaurant on Peter Street includes a fun rooftop patio!

If you visit after dark, you can enjoy the rooftop patio with pretty overhead lights hanging over it.

They’ve got an extensive list of beers and ciders on tap and in bottles and cans, as well as a good wine and cocktail selection.

They actually have 3 locations in Toronto (2 downtown and one on the Danforth), and the Peter Street location is my fave!

LOCATION: 137 Peter St, Toronto, ON

The Porch Rooftop Patio in Toronto

The Porch

The Porch offers up some of the best rooftop patio views in the city, and you can see a gorgeous panoramic view with the Toronto skyline.

The only thing about this place is that they charge cover both during the day and at night, but it’s still a very nice spot.

Be sure to wear plenty of sunscreen, and probably even sunglasses and a hat, unless you’re okay with turning into a lobster.

If you’re visiting with multiple friends, order one of their epic drink towers to share!

LOCATION: 250 Adelaide St. West, Toronto, ON

The Broadview Hotel in Toronto

The Broadview Hotel

The Broadview Hotel in the east end of Toronto is a chic historic hotel that was built as a commercial centre in the late 1800s.

They have a few dining spaces within the hotel, and one of them is their rooftop restaurant that includes a gorgeous outdoor terrace with CN Tower views!

Enjoy seasonal dishes made with locally-sourced produce and all kinds of fancy schmancy cocktails.

Definitely a spot worth booking your next staycation at – you can book a stay on Expedia!

LOCATION: 106 Broadview Ave, Toronto, ON

Pizza and cured charcuterie meats from Gusto 101 Italian restaurant in Toronto

Gusto 101

Gusto 101 is one of the best restaurants on King West, and they’ve also got a super nice rooftop patio to enjoy your classic Italian eats and wine.

The restaurant is housed in an old auto shop, so the whole building has industrial vibes to it!

They also have a retractable glass roof on the rooftop patio for rainy days.

LOCATION: 250 Adelaide St. West, Toronto, ON

The Drake Hotel Toronto

The Drake Hotel

The Drake Hotel is a trendy boutique hotel in the West Queen West neighbourhood, with a restaurant on the main floor (perfect for weekend brunch) and a cool rooftop patio.

The Sky Yard rooftop patio is super colourful, and it’s the perfect spot to grab cocktails with your friends!

If you’re looking for a cute staycation spot, you can also stay at The Drake Hotel.

LOCATION: 1150 Queen St. West, Toronto, ON

JaBistro

I absolutely adore JaBistro’s rooftop patio with its cozy wood panelling and hanging string lights.

JaBistro is part of the Kinka family of restaurants (they also operate Kinka Izakaya and Kinton Ramen), and aburi oshi is the specialty here.

If you’re looking to grab some drinks, they also have a large selection of Japanese alcohol and cocktails, including a few mocktail options!

LOCATION: 222 Richmond St. West, Toronto, ON
