Looking for the best places to shop for cute summer dresses in Toronto?
As much as I’m a jeans and tee kind of gal, sometimes you just feel like twirling around in a cute summer dress, ya know?
I’m working towards having a more sustainable and capsule wardrobe, so I’m only listing stores that have higher quality and more timeless summer dresses.
I’ve also only included shops that don’t make you pay duties on online orders, ’cause I ain’t about paying all those extra fees.
Whether you’re looking for casual summer dresses or fancier wedding guest dresses, you’ll definitely find some cute options at all of these places.
Here are some of the best places to shop for summer dresses in Toronto, both online and in-store!
Be sure to also follow me on Instagram and TikTok – I share a lot more content on those platforms that don’t make it to the blog!

Where to buy cute summer dresses in Toronto
Ever New
Ever New is a Melbourne-based clothing brand that makes gorgeous and feminine pieces for both work and play.
If you’re looking for midi and maxi summer dresses, you’ll find plenty of stunning ones at Ever New!
Their dresses are a mix of youthful and classy, so they’re perfect for the twenty-something who isn’t all about the skimpy summer dresses anymore.
A lot of their summer dresses are in the pricier $100-$200 range, but their pieces are timeless and can be worn for years to come.
I adore this pretty blue mini dress and this dainty green floral midi dress.
They also have a new conscious line made with more sustainable materials, like this pink t-shirt dress!
You can shop them online or in-store at their Toronto locations:
- Toronto Eaton Centre
- Yorkdale
- Sherway Gardens
- Square One
- Vaughan Mills
Amazon Canada
Y’all know how much I love buying clothes on Amazon Canada – they always have great deals, and the shipping is super fast!
They have all kinds of popular brands like ASTR the Label and For Love & Lemons, and they even have their own in-house clothing brands like The Drop.
While you can’t shop on Amazon in-store (at least yet), you can get free same-day, 1-day, or 2-day shipping here in Toronto!
If you’re looking to shop cute clothes on Amazon, I’ve got a few blog posts you might enjoy:
Abercrombie & Fitch
You might remember Abercrombie as the beachy, preppy clothing brand, but they actually have a lot of more modern, cute pieces.
They have a lot of summer dresses that you might see at Aritzia or Reformation, and they’re a lot more affordable.
I’m obsessed with this super cute puff sleeve mini dress, this adorable tie-strap mini dress and this sexy red midi dress.
They’re a sister brand to Hollister, if you didn’t know!
Guess
I’ve been shopping at Guess since high school, and I’ve always adored the amazing and long-lasting quality of their pieces.
I don’t think I’ve ever had a piece of Guess clothing rip or damage on me, which I can’t say for any other clothing brand I’ve ever shopped from.
They also now have an eco-friendly collection made with sustainable materials, including summer dresses!
A lot of their summer dresses are in the $100 to $200 range, but I think it’s definitely worth it for the quality.
They also have a sister brand called Marciano, which I would say is a more elegant and mature.
You can shop them online or visit one of their stores in pretty much every major mall in the Greater Toronto Area.
Reformation
I literally die for the gorgeous and timeless summer dresses at Reformation.
A lot of their summer dresses are form-fitting and super flattering, and they usually have plenty of different prints and colours for each dress style.
If you haven’t heard of Reformation before, they’re a sustainable fashion brand with stores inside Yorkdale Mall and in Yorkville.
You can shop them online as well, and they have free express shipping, easy returns, and duty free shipping to Canada!
They are on the pricier end with most dresses in the $300-$400 price range, but their pieces are ethically made with sustainable materials.
You can also often find brand new or gently-worn Reformation dresses on Poshmark at a discount, and you can use my code “JESSICAILAM” to save $15 on your first order!
The Bay
Of course, we can’t forget the iconic Hudson’s Bay Company, which is the oldest clothing company in Canada.
They have all kinds of brands available at The Bay, from affordable to designer, and they have plenty of adorable summer dresses you can shop.
My fave thing about shopping at The Bay is that they always have amazing deals!
They have stores in pretty much every major mall in Canada, and you can also shop their summer dresses online.
Aritzia
I literally used to have an unhealthy obsession with Aritzia, and I knew every single product they had in-store.
You definitely know of Aritzia if you’re Canadian, but if you don’t know if it, they’re a clothing brand based out of Vancouver.
A lot of their pieces are simple with a twist, so you can keep them in your wardrobe for years.
They also use a lot of nice and luxurious-feeling fabrics for their summer dresses!
You can shop them online or visit one of their stores in pretty much every major mall in the Greater Toronto Area.
Oak & Fort
Oak & Fort is another Vancouver-based fashion brand, and they’re all about minimal pieces.
They have super cute minimal summer dresses that are perfect for your summer capsule wardrobe!
Plus, most of their dresses are in the $50-$100 range, so they’re quite affordable.
You can shop online or visit one of their stores in Toronto at:
- Toronto Eaton Centre
- Queen Street West
- Fairview Mall
- Shops at Don Mills
- Yorkdale Mall
- Sherway Gardens
- Markville Mall
H&M
I’m not at all an advocate for fast fashion, but H&M has an eco-conscious line, and they’re at least working to be more sustainable.
Their eco-conscious collection is made with 20-50% recycled materials, and they have a lot of gorgeous and timeless summer dresses.
I love that their eco-conscious collection is still affordable as well!
You can find H&M in most major malls in the Greater Toronto Area, but you’ll have to shop online for their eco-conscious pieces.
