Valentine’s Day outfits for school
Lipstick: MAC Lipstick in Red | Sweater: Aritzia (similar here) | Skirt: Aritzia (similar here) | Boots: Aldo
1. Knit sweater with a high waisted skirt
You can’t go wrong with a cute little knit sweater and high-waisted skirt.
It’s a simple outfit you can wear to school any day, but go for a bold red or pink sweater to really get into the festive theme.
If over-the-knee boots are too risqué for you, try some black tights with booties instead.
Tights might be good to wear regardless if you live somewhere cold.
Valentine’s Day outfits for work
Lipstick: MAC Lipstick in Red | Tank: Aritzia | Blazer: Aritzia (similar here) | Leggings: Aritzia
2. Blazer and leather leggings
I thought I’d go with a monochrome look for work since some of you might work in more corporate environments.
I wore a white tank, white blazer, and black leather leggings.
To make this look more Valentine-y, I wore a berry lip and red nail polish.
You can dress up in the spirit of Valentine’s Day even in the most subtle ways!
3. Turtleneck with wide leg pants
Lipstick: MAC Lipstick in Fashion Revival | Turtleneck: M Boutique | Pants: Zara | Booties: MUJI | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff
If you want to make a statement, a pair of pink wide leg pants screams “it’s Valentine’s Day!”
I paired these Zara pants with a simple black turtleneck and black booties to keep the pants as the star of the show.
I also wore a pink Rebecca Minkoff bag to bring even more pink to the outfit.
This outfit is conservative enough for a casual office look!
Galentine’s Day outfits for girls’ night out
Lipstick: MAC Lipstick in Red | Jumpsuit: Urban Outfitters (similar here) | Jacket: Mackage from Aritzia | Heels: Nasty Gal (similar here)
4. Jumpsuit with a leather jacket
For me, girls’ night out looks are all about daring pieces like jumpsuits, statement heels, and funky lip colours.
I paired this strapless rose-coloured jumpsuit with a black moto jacket to make it more rocker chic.
To dress it up, I threw on some strappy and glittery chrome heels.
5. Bodysuit with trousers
Throw on a pretty pink wrap suit with some white trousers for a simple yet chic Galentine’s look.
Casual Valentine’s Day outfits
Lipstick: MAC Lipstick in Red | Turtleneck: Frank and Oak (similar here) | Denim: Topshop (similar here)
6. Turtleneck with girlfriend jeans
You don’t really wanna overdo it for a casual Valentine’s Day date, so go with a well-fitting turtleneck and a pair of your best girlfriend jeans.
Be sure to wear a pink or red turtleneck to keep to the spirit of Valentine’s Day!
Lipstick: MAC Lipstick in Fashion Revival | Turtleneck: Frank and Oak (similar here) | Pants: MUJI
7. Turtleneck with corduroy pants
Another style of pants you can wear with your pink or red turtleneck is some good ol’ corduroy pants.
They’re not your grandpa’s corduroys!
8. Oversized turtleneck with white jeans
Throw on your cutest and coziest oversized turtleneck sweater with some white jeans for a chic yet casual Valentine’s Day look.
Loungewear: Amazon The Drop
9. Matching loungewear set
Spending Valentine’s Day cozying it up at home?
Go with a cute matching loungewear set, preferably in pink or red.
Valentine’s date night outfits
Lipstick: MAC Lipstick in Red | Turtleneck: Marciano | Skirt: Dynamite (similar here) | Heels: Aldo (similar here)
10. Turtleneck with a bodycon skirt
I like my date night looks to be a little more alluring.
For that reason, I paired this white fitted turtleneck with a blush pink bodycon skirt and some strappy blush pink heels.
If you really want to amp it up, swap out the blush pink pieces for red instead!
Personally, I think pink is more on the sweeter side and red is more on the sexier side.
These were some of my Valentine’s Day outfit ideas!
Hopefully this gave you some inspo on what to wear for your Valentine’s Day celebrations, whether you’re celebrating with a significant other or getting in the spirit with your Galentines.
