Bathing Belle Swimwear in Toronto

Bathing Belle Swimwear

Tucked away in a small shop on Roncesvalles is Bathing Belle, an awesome swimwear company that makes their pieces in Toronto.

They’ve got a great selection of ready-to-wear bathing suits, or you can have your own custom bathing suit made (within a week!)

I love all their unique and modern pieces, and you’ll definitely love their selection if you’re a fan of cutouts.

You’ll find tons of fun prints, as well as tons of solid colours if you like the simple things.

A gorgeous one piece bathing suit from Bathing Belle.

I adore the Zenith Halter One Piece, Lipari One Shoulder Swimsuit, and Royal Ruffle Tank Top with High-Waisted Bottoms, all of which are gorgeous and timeless.

They have a good selection of swimwear on their website, but I’d definitely visit them in-store to see even more stuff and try everything on (in their fun change room)!

They also have a super fun slogan: from boobs to bum, Bathing Belle makes it fun!

LOCATION: 355 Roncesvalles Ave, Toronto, ON

Ūnika

Ūnika offers both custom and pre-made swimwear pieces that are ethically made in Toronto using sustainable fabrics.

They have a lot of unique styles with ruffles, cutouts, and all sorts of fun stuff.

Their swimsuits are made from a fabric called ECONYL, a nylon yarn made from fishing nets, plastic scraps, and fabric scraps from landfills and oceans.

An awesome thing about ECONYL is that it can be recycled infinitely without losing its quality, so it can constantly be recycled and reused!

All their pieces are under $250, and they’ve got a lot of pieces under $100.

It’s always great supporting sustainable Toronto brands, and you can find their store in Leslieville.

LOCATION: 260 Carlaw Ave Unit 210, Toronto, ON

The Saltwater Collective

The Saltwater Collective ethically makes their swimsuits here in Toronto, also exclusively using ECONYL as a fabric.

They create elevated basics that you can mix and match to highlight your fave parts of your body.

You can shop by colour on their website and see all the styles they have for each one!

All of their bikinis are under $100 for each piece, and all of their one piece swimsuits are under $200.

While sustainable swimwear can be a bit more expensive, they’re pieces you can wear forever, so it’s worth investing in good quality pieces.

Minnow Bathers

Minnow Bathers is another swimwear brand based out of Toronto, and they make all their bathing suits to order in their studio.

They collaborate with artists for their unique prints, and all their swimsuits are made with recycled spandex.

All of their bikinis are under $100 for each piece, and all of their one piece swimsuits are under $200.

I love that they donate $1 from every sale to the Ocean Conservancy, and they also donate a portion of each sale to various animal and human rights organizations year-round.

If you live in Toronto, you can also do local pick-up at their studio in the west end!

Denude Swim

Denude Swim also makes their bathing suits in Toronto, and they’re all about minimal and modern pieces that accentuate your natural curves.

From neutral to neon, they’ve got all kinds of beautiful swimwear pieces that’ll never go out of style.

All of their bikinis are under $100 for each piece, and all of their one piece swimsuits are under $150.

One piece swimsuit from Byron Bay Swim

Byron Bay Swim

Byron Bay is a Montreal-based swimwear brand that’s all about simple, comfortable, and functional pieces.

They also use sustainable materials whenever they can, including recycled nylon spandex.

You’ll find plenty of chic bathing suits, whether you’re into bikinis or one pieces.

I adore the Harper One Piece Suit in Paisley – it can also be worn as a top paired with a skirt or breezy pants!

Mimi & August

Mimi & August is based out of Montreal, and they make women’s clothing, swimwear, and accessories.

The brand started out from one of the founders, who started making custom swimsuits for her friends at her parents’ house!

Their pieces are ethically-produced in small factories, and they produce their swimwear in limited quantities using only recycled materials.

They’re also fairly affordable, with all of their bikinis under $75 per piece, and all of their one piece swimsuits under $150.

I also love that they use real women as models rather than professional models on their website!

LOCATION: 162 Rue Saint-Amable, Montreal, QC

Londre

Londre’s bathing suits are sustainably and ethically made in Vancouver using at least 6 recycled plastic bottles each.

They’ve recycled over 200,000 plastic bottles to date, which is pretty epic!

All the water used in their production is reusable, and all their swimsuits are able to be recycled into new materials through their recycling program.

All of their bikinis are under $125 for each piece, and all of their one piece swimsuits are under $225.

They also have some beautiful and cozy apparel pieces.

Nettle’s Tale

They offer sizes XS through 4X, and their bathing suits are handmade in Vancouver.

All of their bikinis are under $100 for each piece, and all of their one piece swimsuits are under $175.

Beth Richards

I adore Beth Richards’ stunning prints and unique styles of swimwear.
