Best patios in Richmond Hill

Mexican Amigos

Mexican Amigos serves up some of the best Mexican food in Richmond Hill, and they’ve got a gorgeous, woody outdoor patio.

It’s got hanging string lights, and it’s covered in case of rainy days!

They’ve also got big screen TVs inside the restaurant, perfect for watching sports.

LOCATION: 10720 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON

Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar

Scaddabush is one of my fave Italian restaurant chains in Toronto, and they’ve got a super cute outdoor patio at their Richmond Hill location.

Their Charity Bread and Straight Up Meatball are amazing!

Scaddabush has locations all across the GTA, and you’ll find their Richmond Hill location along the East Beaver Creek stretch of restaurants.

Margarita, nachos, and salsa from Lone Star Texas Grill in Ontario

Lone Star Texas Grill

Looking to get a taste of Texas in little ol’ Richmond Hill?

From their Lone Star State Nachos to their Chicken Chimichanga, you can try all kinds of Tex-Mex-inspired dishes.

I love that their sauces are made in-house, and that their tortillas are all freshly-baked!

Lone Star is your spot for Tex-Mex north of the border, and they’ve got one location in Richmond Hill that’s actually right by Scaddabush.

They’ve also got plenty more locations across Ontario, and they’ve been around for over three decades!

They’re also hosting Margapalooza right now, where you can pick from 16 epic margarita flavours to sip on. Yum.

LOCATION: 157 York Blvd, Richmond Hill, ON

Crave Restaurant

You might not care for hotel restaurants, but Crave Restaurant at the Sheraton Hotel in Richmond Hill has the most beautiful, newly-renovated outdoor patio.

It literally feels like you’re in a secret garden with the hanging string lights and the greenery.

They’ve got upscale Canadian comfort foods and fusion eats, plus a good selection of crafted cocktails.

There’s even brunch on the weekends, including a prix-fixe menu if you’re up for it!

LOCATION: 600 Hwy 7, Richmond Hill, ON

Il Fornello

You probably already know of Il Fornello, and they’ve got amazing Italian eats.

They’ve got a stunning outdoor patio in Richmond Hill (that’s covered!), with flowers hanging from the ceiling.

Wood-fired pizzas are the specialty here, and they were actually the first restaurant to bring them from Italy to Toronto!

Turtle Jack's Restaurant in Richmond Hill, Ontario

Turtle Jack’s

Turtle Jack’s is another local Ontario-based restaurant chain, and they’re inspired by all things cottage country, from the vibes to the food.

They’ve got all kinds of Canadian eats and fusion foods, including tacos and burgers!

You can also enjoy seasonal cocktails, including alcohol-free cocktails.

LOCATION: 11740 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, ON

Street Eats Market

While Street Eats Market isn’t an actual patio, I figured I’d include it anyway.

Street Eats Market is kind of like a mini food truck festival, and you’ll find them at multiple locations across the GTA, including at Hillcrest Mall in Richmond Hill.

The best part about food truck festivals: ordering a dish from as many trucks as possible to sample as many foods as possible!

Check out the amazing lobster rolls at Buster’s Sea Cove or order some authentic jerk chicken from Jerk Brothers.

They’ve got all kinds of awesome international vendors, and they’ve got different vendors at their Scarborough Town Centre and Burlington GO locations.

LOCATION: 9350 Yonge St, Richmond Hill, ON
