These heavenly noodles are made by kneading and stretching the dough by hand, which creates a unique texture and chewiness that you can’t find in machine-made noodles.

Mogouyan Hand Pulled Noodle

Mogouyan serves up delicious Lanzhou-style hand-pulled noodle dishes alongside amazing cocktails and appetizers.

All of their noodles are hand-pulled on-site at their restaurants, and they’re perfectly chewy and delicious.

You can choose from several different noodle shapes, from thin and flat noodles to flat round and thick noodles!

The Braised Beef Noodle Soup is a great option if you’re craving a hot noodle soup, and the Dan Dan Noodles and Noodles with Minced Beef Paste are both amazing dry noodle options.

Their dry noodles do come with a side of perfectly-spiced broth though, perfect for sipping alongside your noodles!

The noodle dishes are definitely enough to fill you up, but the appetizers are so worth ordering.

The Lamb Skewers and Garlic Seashell Scallops are definitely my favourites, and they’ve got plenty of other delish appetizers as well.

Mogouyan also has a variety of house-made drinks and cocktails to satisfy your thirst.

The Non-Caffeinated Mango Refreshment is our go-to, and the MGY Mango Martini (which includes Chinese liquor) is great if you’re feelin’ a drank!

We love the Non-Caffeinated Mango Refreshment and MGY Mango Martini.

They originally opened in Mogouyan, a district of Lanzhou, over 40 years ago, and Lanzhou is actually a city famous for its beef noodle soups.

You can visit one of their 3 locations downtown in Yorkville, at Yonge & Gerrard, or at Dundas & Bay.

Our fave location is definitely the Dundas & Bay location, and it gets quite busy during peak lunch and dinner hours!

GB Hand-Pulled Noodles

This popular Chinese noodle shop serves up delicious noodle soups with their handmade Lanzhou-style noodles.

Go for their Special Lanzhou Beef Noodles or try their Braised/Spicy Beef Brisket Noodle.

They’ve also got plenty of appetizers you can enjoy alongside your hand-pulled noodle soups, including their Marinated Cold Jellyfish, Spicy Cucumber, and Sliced Chicken with Chilli Sauce!

Homemade Ramen

Homemade Ramen is located in the heart of Chinatown, serving up Northern Chinese-style noodles.

You can choose between a variety of proteins with your hand-pulled ramen, including braised beef, hot and sour pork sauce, and lamb!

You can also watch the hand-pulled noodles being made from behind a glass screen.

They’ve also got plenty of other delicious dishes like their Spicy Poached Fish Fillet and Shrimp with Salted Egg Yolk.

Magic Noodle

This casual Chinese eatery in Toronto serves up all things noodles, including noodle soups, stir fried noodles, and dry noodle dishes.

You’ll find an extensive selection of authentic Chinese noodle dishes, including hot Tomato Beef noodle soup and dry Dan Dan Noodles.

Their noodles are all hand-pulled, so they’re perfectly chewy and delicious.

If you’re craving some appetizers, order one of their grilled skewers or deep fried dishes like Popcorn Chicken or Garlic Fried Wings.

They’ve got 6 locations across the GTA, but only their Scarborough and North York locations are open 24 hours!

Gol’s Lanzhou Noodle

Gol’s is originally from Montreal, and they specialize in authentic Lanzhou beef noodles.

Their Toronto location is in North York, but their hand-pulled noodles are worth the trek north of the city!

Be sure to go for the Traditional Lanzhou Hand-Pull Beef Noodle – you can take your pick between various noodle thicknesses and sizes!

The interior is also decorated beautifully, and you can watch the magic of hand-pulled noodle-making behind a glass screen.

You can find them by Yonge & Finch, and they’ve also got locations inside Square One and in Waterloo.

They’ve even got restaurants in Montreal and Winnipeg!

Omni Palace

Omni Palace is China’s largest hand-pulled noodle chain with over 400 locations, and they’ve got a location in Toronto!

They’ve got hand-pulled noodle soups or hand-pulled mixed noodles you can choose from, and they’ve even got vegetarian options.

Go for the Traditional Lanzhou Beef Noodles or Lamb Ribs Noodles if you’re in the mood for a soup, or try the Scallion Oil Shrimp Noodles or Sesame Paste Chicken Noodles if you’re looking for dry noodles!

Another awesome thing about Omni Palace is that everything is halal!
