Commisso Bros & Racco Italian Bakery

This long-standing Italian bakery has been open since 1957, and they’re well-known for their hot table filled with fresh pasta, pizza, and other authentic Italian eats.

Their Veal Sandwich is definitely a must-try, and you’ve gotta grab one of their cannolis for dessert.

If you’re in the mood for something lighter, they also have a deli where you can build your perfect sandwich.

You can find them by Eglinton West and in North York, and both locations are open 24 hours.

Be sure to have some cash on-hand, as they only take cash!

Sandwiches from Kettleman's Bagels in Toronto

Kettleman’s Bagels

Kettleman’s is a popular 24-hour Ottawa bakery that’s been serving up Montreal-style bagels since the 90’s, and they now have locations in Toronto!

You can literally watch them make their bagels by hand inside the bakery, which is pretty cool.

Choose from a dozen different bagel options, including Poppy Seed, Garlic, and Blueberry.

The best thing about is that you can choose any of these bagels for their two dozen bagel sandwich options!

We love the Cubano and Famous Chopped Liver Bagel Sandwiches, and Adam has always gone for the Kettleman’s Special when he’s visited Ottawa.

You can also take home one of their many different kinds of cream cheese (including Lox, Hot Pepper, and Dill Pickle).

The line can get pretty long, so I’d recommend ordering ahead on the Kettleman’s app, and you can pick up your order without having to wait in line!

You can find them across from Stackt Market, in Etobicoke, and in Whitby, and all locations are open 24 hours.

Grillies

This popular late night spot serves up tacos, burritos, rice bowls, and burgers at their 5 locations across the GTA.

Prices start at $4.49 for their mains, so it’s quite an affordable spot to eat at!

Their locations by Yonge & Dundas, on the Danforth, and in Scarborough are open 24 hours.

Markham Station

In the mood for some good ol’ diner food?

Markham Station serves up all-day breakfast and diner staples at their light-filled restaurant in Scarborough.

Enjoy all the classic Canadian breakfast staples from pancakes, to eggs bennies, to omelettes.

If you’re craving something heartier, go for one of their burgers, steaks, or pastas!

They also now have a location in Richmond Hill, and it’s also open 24 hours.

LOCATION: 5117 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON

Pho Pasteur Restaurant

If you’re craving a hot bowl of late-night pho, stop into Pho Pasteur in Chinatown.

They’ve got all the classic pho options alongside more savoury options like their Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef and pork soup with vermicelli noodles) and Bun Rieu (crab paste, tomato, pork, and vermicelli noodles).

You’ll also find other Vietnamese eats like Cha Gio (deep fried spring rolls) and Goi Cuon (summer rolls).

If you’re looking for a sweet treat, definitely order the Sinh To Bo – it’s an avocado milkshake, and it’s heavenly.

They’re also a cash-only establishment, so be sure to carry some cash with you!

Perfect Chinese Restaurant

This 24-hour Chinese restaurant has been a staple in Scarborough for almost 40 years.

Classic Cantonese dishes, dim sum, and seafood are what you can expect on the menu, including set dinners with lobster and crab.

It’s the perfect spot to visit if you’ve got some late-night cravings for authentic Cantonese food!

LOCATION: 4386 Sheppard Avenue E, Toronto, ON

Magic Noodle

This casual Chinese eatery in Toronto serves up all things noodles, including noodle soups, stir fried noodles, and dry noodle dishes.

You’ll find an extensive selection of authentic Chinese noodle dishes, including hot Tomato Beef noodle soup and dry Dan Dan Noodles.

Their noodles are all hand-pulled, so they’re perfectly chewy and delicious.

If you’re craving some appetizers, order one of their grilled skewers or deep fried dishes like Popcorn Chicken or Garlic Fried Wings.

They’ve got 6 locations across the GTA, but only their Scarborough and North York locations are open 24 hours!

Owl of Minerva

Owl is definitely one of the best and most iconic Korean restaurants in Toronto, and they serve up authentic and home-style Korean comfort foods.

I absolutely love their Kamjatang (pork bone soup) and LA Kalbi (BBQ ribs), but everything on the menu is delicious.

They opened up in Toronto over two decades ago, and they’ve now got over a dozen locations across the GTA and Ontario.

Both their North York and Mississauga locations are open 24/7, so you can enjoy Korean comfort foods any time of day.

You can even find their kimchi and (frozen) pork bone soup at some Asian grocery stores in the GTA!

LOCATION: Various locations

Huh Ga Ne

This modern Korean eatery is also located in North York, and they’re open 24 hours.

You’ll find traditional Korean comfort foods including everything from stews to bibimbap (rice bowls).

They also offer table cooking, so you can cook up your own dishes at your table!

LOCATION: 19A Finch Ave W, North York, ON

7 West Cafe

This romantic café is housed in a converted three-storey townhouse in the swanky Yorkville neighbourhood, and they’ve been in business for over three decades.

Enjoy all kinds of international comfort food bites from spring rolls to nachos, as well as a wide selection of wines, beers, cocktails, and more.

They’re open 24 hours every single day of the week, all year-round.

They’re also a sister restaurant to the popular Smith Restaurant, as well as the now-shuttered Wish Restaurant (which used to be one of my fave spots in Yorkville!)

LOCATION: 7 Charles St W, Toronto, ON
