Butter Baker is a French bakery in Toronto, and they’ve everything from cakes, to pastries, to soft serve ice cream.
Their cake designs are simple, and perfectly delicious – try their Cookies & Cream Cake or their Apple Caramel Cake!
They’ve even got seasonal offerings, like their Pumpkin Spice Bunt Cake for fall.
They use classic French techniques with fresh and local ingredients, including fresh fruit, fresh dairy, and Ontario free-range eggs.

They do cool 3D cakes of items like sneakers and designer bags, as well as classic buttercream cakes.
You can choose from a variety of signature cake flavours (such as Red Velvet and Lemon) and fillings (like Caramel and Hazelnut).

Shu Cake Boutique
Choose between beautiful cream cakes, mille crêpe cakes, and mousse cakes at Shu Cake Boutique in Toronto (formerly known as 7 Cake).
You’ll find Asian-inspired flavours like Ovaltine Cream Cake (the popular malt drink) to more classic flavours like their Freiburg Cream Cake (with dark chocolate and cherry).
I love that a lot of their cakes are square-shaped, which is a bit more unique than the classic circle cake!

Indulge in Japanese cheesecakes with a modern twist at Cheese Garden.

Each summer they also do limited edition desserts featuring Japanese white peaches, and they’re *chef’s kiss*.

Daan Go is famous for their adorable character macarons, but they also have delicious cakes, cookies, ice cream, and even drinks!
A lot of their desserts feature Asian-inspired flavours, whether you’re craving Vietnamese coffee or durian.
Even their cakes are adorable, and some feature character macarons on top!
They’ve also got plenty of fun shaped mini cakes, like their Lucky Duck and Ramen Bowl.
They’ve got a whole range of cute and creative creations, and they’ve even got lucky cat smash cakes that are perfect for gifting!
Daan Go Cake Lab is the brainchild of Christopher Siu, who starred in seasons 2 and 7 of MasterChef Canada and won the title of MasterChef in his second appearance!
